Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Beattier. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Beattier. You sign in with your Apple or Google account and are responsible for activity on your Beattier account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data from our servers.

Your content

You own the ratings, reviews, statuses, comments and other content you create. By posting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store and display that content within the service. That's what lets other users see your reviews. The licence ends for content you delete, except where we must keep it for legal reasons. Profiles, ratings, reviews, statuses and libraries are visible to other users.

Rules

Don't use Beattier to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, pornographic, or that infringes someone else's rights. Don't spam, impersonate others, scrape the service, or try to break or bypass its security. We provide reporting and blocking tools. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

Beattier Pro

Beattier is free to use. Beattier Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features, offered as a monthly or a yearly plan.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial. The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid yearly subscription. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Beattier account does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms affects any right you have under consumer law.
• Price changes. If the price of your subscription changes, Apple will tell you in advance, and where required you'll be asked to agree before you are charged the new price.
• Changes to Pro features. We may add, change or remove Pro features as the app evolves. If we make a change that substantially reduces what Pro includes, we'll announce it in the app so you can decide whether to keep subscribing.

Apple's terms

If you use Beattier on an Apple device, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. If these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

Music data

Album, track and artist metadata and artwork are provided by Apple Music and Spotify and remain the property of their respective owners. Beattier is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Apple, Spotify or any music rightsholder.

The service

Beattier is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Beattier Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the effective date, and announce the change in the app. Continuing to use Beattier after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
